Join Poplar Forest for a day focused on the family, including hands-on activities, scavenger hunts and demonstrations. Saturday, July 13 focuses on the theme of Archaeology Adventures, which includes demonstrations on cross-mending and screening for artifacts, and activities like designing your own presidential china or your own retreat house. Take-home crafts include spatter painting with poplar leaves and other natural plants.

Admission fees: $16 for adults; $14 for seniors (ages 65+) and military (must show ID); $8 for college students (must show ID) and teens (ages 12-18); $4 for youth (ages 6-11); and free for children under age 6 and Poplar Forest members.
