Join the Poplar Forest Archaeology Department for a chance to participate in the ongoing archaeological dig through hands-on opportunities at the 1857 Slave Dwelling.  Learn about the current excavations, help wash artifacts, and join in the process of discovery by trying your hand at archeology. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. Public Archaeology Day is included with regular admission rates.
