At Poplar Forest, every dog has its day
Calling all dog lovers! Join us for the dedication and ribbon-cutting of our brand-new dog kennel and the release of the children’s book Colonial Klaus in Thomas Jefferson’s House. This event is free and open to the public. Pets welcome.
Featuring:
- 11:30 a.m.—Dog Kennel Dedication & Ribbon-Cutting
- 1:00 p.m.—Costumed Dog Parade & Competition
- Book Signing by Colonial Klaus in Thomas Jefferson’s House Author Laura Macaluso (with an appearance by Klaus himself!)
- On-Site Pet Adoptions from the Lynchburg Humane Society
