In honor of Jefferson’s 275 birthday, experience a moment in American history at Poplar Forest’s 17th annual presentation of Conversations with Thomas Jefferson. Sit in on a private and wide-ranging conversation between Jefferson, as portrayed by actor Bill Barker, and his younger self, portrayed by Kurt Benjamin Smith. What questions may Young Jefferson have about his future, and what advice would the retired President give his younger self? These questions and more will be explored in two performances only:

• Matinee performance at 2:15 p.m., preceded by a reception at 1:30 p.m.
• Evening performance at 7:30 p.m., preceded by a reception at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for the matinee performance include a pre-theater reception: $32 for adults (over 16) and $14 for youth (ages 6 – 16). House tours can be added at the reduced rate of $9 per person. Tickets for the evening performance include a pre-theater reception and house tour: $37 for adults (over 16) and $14 for youth (ages 6 – 16); reservations are suggested.
