Important update

After a great deal of thought and careful consideration, we have decided to cancel this year’s performance of “Conversations with Mr. Jefferson” featuring Frederick Douglass, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and concerns over rising cases in our area. While we hoped the fall would provide the opportunity to safely gather in larger groups and enjoy an evening of enlightening discussion and fellowship, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to work toward rescheduling this event for a date in 2021.

Thank you to all who shared your thoughts in response to the emailed survey. We are grateful for your help, feedback and support of Poplar Forest. Please stay tuned to our website and social media channels for updates on our fall 2020 and 2021 event calendars. Most of all, we hope that you and your family continue to stay healthy!

Tickets purchased for Conversations 2020 may be refunded by calling The Museum Shop at 434.534.8120, or can be converted into a tax-deductible charitable donation. Thank you for considering this means of valuable support!
